Chandramukhi 2 to roll on 5 heroines

Venkatesh starring ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is the sequel of ‘Chandramukhi’, which had already been made in Kannada as ‘Apta Rakshaka’ by director P Vasu. The film was a box office hit and now the director has eyed the Telugu audience.

From the time the producer Bellamkonda Suresh made an announcement of this sequel, there were enough guesses about who would be doing the female lead. Now the buzz is that 5 heroines - Anushka, Priyamani, Richa Gangopadhyay, Lakshmi Rai and Kamalini Mukherjee have signed for this flick. While one will portray the title role, the rest also has the prominent characters in the film. ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is likely hit the sets in May and will be shot in a lavish mansion in Bangkok. P Vasu is the director.

Ileana debutant in item Song?

Ileana has agreed to perform an item song. The actress who said that she will not do a film unless she is paid 1 crore, ahs agreed to do an item number for Kannada film ‘Thunta Thunta’ .

The film is directed by Indrajith Lankesh and it stars Lekha and Ishitha Sharma as female leads. Great! But what about the remuneration? Well! The Kannada film industry is already reeling with budgets and cannot afford high budget films. And from this, we can conclude that she might not get more comparitively in Tollywood.

But then why did Ileana accept for such low pay? Well, she knows that Tollywood producers will surely come to her sooner or later

Karnataka bans ‘Kites’ release

Cine goers has been long waiting for the release of Hrithik Roshanand Barbara Moristarer ‘Kites’ but the film has been banned in Karnataka, informs Karnataka film association. The film was banned as the makers have violated certain norms of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC). The decision to ban the screening of the film was made on Thursday night by KFCC.

Basanth Kumar Patil, president of KFCC, told reporters that they have decided to put a ban on the film as the makers have violated the regulatory principles of the chamber. They have broken the norms of the local film industry by planning to release it in 46 theatres as against 24 theatres allowed.

"As per norms of the KFCC, non-Kannada movies can be released in only 21 theatres. The distributors approached us and requested us to relax the norms and grant permission to screen in 24 halls. We agreed. But now, they are releasing it in 46 theatres. Besides, they are also planning to screen it in another 10-12 theatres. Rules can’t be different for different people," quotes Patil.

Two local films, ‘Shankar IPS’ and ‘Nooru Janmaku’, which are releasing today would suffer if theatres are reserved for Kites. "Due to Kites, Prakash Rai’s Naanu Nanna Kanasu has been removed from theatres and the two films set for release on Friday have no halls. Who will protect our films?” Patil added. "If they screen this film now, we will not allow them to screen any more later," he warned.

Kites featuring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori is releasing worldwide today. It is also one of the biggest Indian film releasing in the overseas market.

Vidya Balan wants to get married

Where actresses in the industry run away from the question of marriage or turn furious with the question of marriage and love, Vidya Balancomes clear about getting married and she also divulged about her failure in love.

Talking about finding her Prince Charming, Vidya told, “I haven’t come across someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. My parents want me to get married, but it’s not like they think it will happen tomorrow. Even they want me to marry someone I’m sure about. My parents encourage me to meet people and keep saying that I should find the right person. They want me to keep my eyes open, rather open my eyes wider (laughs). Let’s just say that they want me to socialise more often. I think they realise that I don’t see myself getting into an arranged marriage.”

Vidya Balan confesses that she had been into a serious relationship but it did not work out. But she still believes in true love and falling in love. “I am a hopeless romantic at heart. I believe that it’s better to have loved and lost rather than never to have loved at all.”

When she was asked what kind of a man would she want if she gets married, Vidya says, “Please reframe your question. There is no ‘if’. I want to categorically tell you that I want to get married. I want to have a husband and a family. I’d love that (pauses). I don’t believe in casual relationships and I can never be in a live-in relationship.”

“I’ll marry someone who gives me some butterflies in my stomach. Someone like George Clooney. His age is now beginning to show, so maybe someone younger. He should be someone I can discuss anything under the sun with. Most importantly, he should be very self-assured,” adds Vidya.

Pawan Kalyan slapped Director

Recently Hero Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film "Komarampuli" shooting held at Talakona, during that shooting the director S.J.Surya and Hero Pawan Kalyan had differences between them. While shooting progressing at Talakona Director S.J.Suryah is shouting on one of the crew member.

Pawan Kalyan, who just arrived to the spot straight away went to Director and slapped him rudely it seems. The Buzz is Director admitted in Hospital and shooting postponed.

'Leader' turns 'joker' in Bollywood

With just one film Leader in Tollywood, that too an average success, young hero Rana seems to have gone on cloud nine and is feeling that he has become a top hero.

Rana has forgotten the basic fact that the people are acknowledging him mainly because he is the grandson of veteran producer and Guinness Record holder Rama Naidu and a nephew of top hero Venkatesh. Moreover, he is the sole heir of a big empire called Suresh Productions worth thousands of crores; but not because he is a great actor.

However, Rana has not acknowledged this simple fact. He is not happy with the recognition he has got in Tollywood. He is trying to create an impression that he is a big hero in Bollywood as well. At present, he is playing the role of a second hero in a Hindi film titled “Dum Maro Dum,” but he is not getting the kind of recognition he expected in Mumbai. So, he caught hold of a public relations officer and spreading rumours in the Hindi film media that he had an “affair” with Bollywood beauties Sonam Kapoor and Shruti Hasan. That way, he is trying to build up the image of a Casanova for himself.

But, his attempts are only boomeranging on him. Following the media reports, Rana has become a big joke in the Bollywood circles and people are laughing at him behind his back. Well, that is how a “Leader” in Tollywood has become a “joker” in Bollywood.

HOT IPL PARTY PICS

Sex, sleaze & IPL – who is to blame for India’s loss?

Am I the only one who is left disappointed and angry at India’s dismal performance at the T20 World Cup? With BCCI avoiding the blame, there seems to be only one scrapegoat for the disaster – the IPL. “Fatigue due to a demanding schedule” – is the official reason quoted by Dhoni. One is left to wonder whether he meant the schedule on the field or off it. The IPL nights have been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Sleaze, booze, glamour and cricket punched together to make one deadly cocktail.

I have a friend who is interning at a 5 star hotel in Kolkata as a hotel management student. He attended all 7 IPL parties held there and told me shocking stories that never reached reached the media. No wonder Dhoni said that the parties were a “distraction”.

I did some digging and came out with these clandid photos – distracting to say the least. What is your opinion people. Does this surprise you?
