Venkatesh starring ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is the sequel of ‘Chandramukhi’, which had already been made in Kannada as ‘Apta Rakshaka’ by director P Vasu. The film was a box office hit and now the director has eyed the Telugu audience.

From the time the producer Bellamkonda Suresh made an announcement of this sequel, there were enough guesses about who would be doing the female lead. Now the buzz is that 5 heroines - Anushka, Priyamani, Richa Gangopadhyay, Lakshmi Rai and Kamalini Mukherjee have signed for this flick. While one will portray the title role, the rest also has the prominent characters in the film. ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is likely hit the sets in May and will be shot in a lavish mansion in Bangkok.
