Basics on Uday
Uday Kiran was born on 26th June 1980 in Andhra Pradesh, India to V V K Murthy and Nirmala. He also has an older sibling Sridevi.
He studied at the K V Picket School and later at the Wesley College.
Uday Kiran’s Movies
2000 to 2004 Uday Kiran’s first movie was Chitram (2000) about a couple who get married owing to an unplanned pregnancy. Nuvvu Nenu (2001) was a story about a rich boy falls in love with a poor girl, which won him a Filmfare Best Actor Telugu Award. In 2003, he starred in Sreeram, Nee Sneham and Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu.
2005 to 2008 Avunanna Kaadanna was his only release in 2005. In 2006, he appeared in a Tamil movie Poi that was directed by K Balachander. He played a hairstylist in Viyyala Vari Kayyalu (2007). Vambu Sandal (2008) was his second Tamil movie that received a mixed response. He acted in Madan’s Gunde Jhallumandi (2008).
